In eighth grade I had a tech-savvy language arts teacher that made sure we made real world connections to our reading. We did nothing that did not bring us in contact with another classroom somewhere else in the world.
A main project we did throughout the year was making a website over anti-piracy. My artwork was chosen to be displayed on the website to help illustrate our point. This project gained our classroom a lot of attention towards using technology in the classroom.
Our website on anti-piracy also gained a lot of fame with the world-wide kids magazine, KidzEra, decided to have us write a two page spread on the subject. I got to create a huge picture to go on one of the pages.
Check out the Anti-Piracy Website, a website made by teens for teens:

I was really thrilled to learn that my artwork would be published in an international magazine here is the magazines URL: http://kidzera.com/
