My love for art can all be acclaimed to my Grandmother who was an artist herself and spent endless hours of my childhood teaching me to draw. I still have much to learn but I love the work I have done so far.
This drawing took me the better part of a semester to draw as I only had time to work on it between projects in art and in study halls on days that I did not have any homework.
My art teacher had a book on how to draw dragons and this one really struck me to how cool it looked and in the seventh grade it was a daunting task to replicate this magnificent beast.
When I had finally finished this drawing I was asked a multitude of times if I had copied the image and held my paper up to a window. My answer to this is no, I take pride in my art and still cherish this picture to this day.

I really like how the manilla paper is ripped along the edges which gives it more of an ancient look to the already medieval looking dragon. |
Recently I have drawn another dragon from my imagination, this was just a random doodle that turned into something more.
This last picture is a phoenix that I drew for a school function. I based it off of a really cool picture that I found off of the internet. The only thing I wish that I could do with this picture would be to make the body look like it was made of flames even more that it does so now.

This drawing is really cool for me because in the bottom right hand corner there is a little sketch from my Grandma showing what she thinks it should look like. |
